High Mountain Morels

Early May and that means Cascade Mountain morels and redband trout. Teri and I found both on our first outing on 5/4/2014.

  1. My son found some dark mushrooms that are kind of oily on the inside…do you have any idea what they might be? We went mushrooming around the mountain lakes today.

    • Hello Marsha. Do you have a photo? Can’t tell much without looking at it. What mountain lakes? That would help too. – Neil
