Teri and I took another float and once again found plentiful morels. At this point they are reaching maximum growth. This size is great for stuffing with…bout anything, but the best in my opinion is ground venison.
The weather was mixed with sun, rain and wind. Typical spring conditions. We pulled plugs for salmon through some good runs. Twitched a Carpetbagger through some good winter steelhead runs. I amazed that foot long cutthroat trout will hit a sardine-wrapped K-15 Kwikfish. Well it happened. We hooked two. Now for a salmon next time! The river continues dropping and that hookup should come soon.
